And if they managed to achieve this goal three or more times a week, they further reduced their mortality risk to an impressive 40%!

Interestingly, researchers noticed that it wasn’t strictly about hitting daily activity quotas—it was all about the total number of steps taken. Whether they took their strides sporadically or consistently throughout the week, women who accumulated similar total steps experienced comparable health benefits.
