This is a tale of two friends who, armed with nothing but determination and bravery, stepped forward to save three stranded pilot whales on a Nova Scotia beach. Just recently, on a beautiful morning in Nova Scotia, Mark Rankin and Grant Cameron stumbled upon a dire situation. Three pilot whales had become stranded on the beach, and with low tide approaching rapidly, every second counted.

While some bystanders awaited help from the authorities, Mark and Grant realized that waiting wasn’t an option.
