Walking through crowded areas or glancing at grainy CCTV footage, he can spot individuals even when they wear face masks, a challenge that emerged during the pandemic. He once recognized a robber from a year-old photograph and identified another suspect simply by a mole on their face.

“I just enjoy being part of something bigger, catching suspects and keeping our neighborhoods secure,” Andy shares, embodying the spirit of service. His talent remains a mystery even to him, as he explains, “It’s hard to tell how I do it; faces just seem to stick in my mind.”

Each shift, he immerses himself in police briefings, CCTV footage, and images of wanted individuals, making awareness a priority. On average, he identifies a suspect every other shift, showcasing his constant vigilance and active involvement in the community’s safety.

Despite his extraordinary face memory, Andy is charmingly humble about his other skills, especially when it comes to dates. “My wife takes care of remembering anniversaries and birthdays. When it comes to that kind of memory, I’m a failure,” he chuckles, highlighting the balance in their partnership.
