There’s something truly special about shared milestones—especially when they come with a century of memories! Meet Bill and Jack Casey, identical twins who recently celebrated their 100th birthday together, proving that friendship and family are the best gifts life can offer.

On a sunny day in Oxfordshire, England, Bill and Jack threw a lively celebration at their retirement home. The room was filled with laughter, love, and even a few inflatable crowns that the twins sported proudly as they sipped on drinks and savored their birthday cake. To top it off, they received cards from King Charles himself, making the day even more unforgettable.

Being the elder brother by a mere ten minutes, Bill has embraced life with passion. Since retiring, he’s found joy in painting and dedicates every day to staying fit with 20 minutes of exercise. Reflecting on his incredible journey so far, he declared the computer to be the most significant invention of his lifetime, marveling at its endless possibilities.

When asked the secret to reaching this impressive milestone, Bill offered heartfelt advice: clean living, staying active, a determined spirit, and, of course, a little bit of good luck in genes. With a glint in his eye, he added, “I always believed I would turn 100, and now that it’s here, I’m eager for the next 100!” His words echoed with warmth and encouragement for younger generations, urging them to embrace sports and maintain an active lifestyle.

Born in south London, the twins embarked on a new chapter in their lives when they joined the army in 1945, becoming members of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Their time in Malaysia was filled with adventures, and Bill fondly reminisced about all the cheeky pranks they pulled as identical twins.

In 1951, while in Wales, Bill met Joan, his future wife. They married and welcomed a son, settling down in Surrey, where Bill dedicated his career to supporting skills training for the Government until his retirement in 1984.

Today, Bill resides in Williams Place retirement home. The home’s manager, Nina Woodbridge, shares that Bill is a beloved figure in their community, known for his warm spirit and a great sense of humor that brings joy to those around him.
