Fast forward to today, and Logan is now behind the controls of a Sentinel shunter, a locomotive that quietly hums as it glides along the scenic Weardale Railway Line. This picturesque route, often compared to the protectively cherished US National Parks, is where Logan launched his career as a train driver.

After earning his diploma in Engineering Technologies from Newcastle College Rail Academy, Logan seized the opportunity to volunteer at the Weardale line.
